Remember - its not only the lyrics that you need to write - its the melody as well. So perhaps humming the new melody will work best for you in the start?

However, there is one very important thing you need to do when you are ready to create the new melody and that is to record yourself. Why? Because you might find a melody that is truly great, but if you haven`t recorded it, chances are big that you will just forget about it.

Even if you only use the voicerecorder on your cellphone, it will be allright - this is only so you shall remember your work later and save you a lot of trouble and aggravation.
